Terms and Conditions of Sale of Services

Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

These are the terms on which I provide all Services to you. By purchasing any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
For 'The Story' and 'The Reset':
Interpretation

Client or you means the individual or business entity that is purchasing the Service based on the Quotation.

Service Provider or me or I - means the person you are purchasing the Service from: Laura Feinberg

Contract means the legally-binding agreement between you and me for the sale and purchase of the Service;

Delivery means the method of file transfer used to send the relevant documents and files, as set out in the Quotation;

Service means any Service that I offer to you, as set out in the Quotation;

Quotation means the quotation that is sent to you by me detailing the Service, price and payment.
Services

The description of the services is as set out in the Quotation.

It is your responsibility to ensure that any information you provide is accurate.
Formation of Contract for Services

The description of the Services in my website, catalogues, brochures or other form of advertisement does not constitute a contractual offer to sell the Services.

When you enquire about the Service, I will send you a Quotation. In the event that I am unable to offer the Service that you require, I will aim to tell you the reason without delay.

Once you agree to the provisions in the Quotation, I will send you an email with the confirmation and at that point a Contract for the Service will be formed.

No variation of the Contract, whether about description of the Services, price or otherwise, can be made after it has been entered, unless the variation is agreed by you and me in writing.
Price and payment

The price of the Service, together with any additional charges are set out in the Quotation.

Prices and charges include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the purchase.

Payment dates and terms are set out in the Quotation.

Delivery will be made in the agreed format by the agreed date unless I notify you that there is a delay.
Cancellation

You can cancel your purchase of the Service by sending me an email. The deposit paid is non-refundable.

50% of the price referred to in the Quotation is payable even if you cancel your purchase, if such cancellation is made more than 10 working days after the Contract is formed.

If you cancel once I have supplied you with any drafts as part of the Service, the full amount of the price referred to in the Quotation is payable
Privacy

Your privacy is critical to me. I respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulations with regard to your personal information.

These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside, and are in addition to the policies, including the privacy policy and Cookies policy which can be found on my website Privacy Policy | The Strictly Sustainable Writer.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- ‘Data Protection Laws’ means any applicable law relating to the processing of Personal Data Laws’ means any applicable law relating to the processing of Personal Data, including, but not limited to the Directive 95/46/EC (Data Protection Directive) or the GDPR.
- ‘GDPR’ means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
- ‘Data Controller’, ‘Personal Data’ and ‘Processing’ shall have the same meaning as in the GDPR.
Limitation of Liability

All the write-ups, words, ideas, notes and information that I send to you are to be treated as suggestions only, and not as instructions. I do not guarantee any results.

Any information that does not belong to you and that you do not have any IP rights over should not be passed on to me. I am not liable for any such information.

Any libellous information/content should not be passed on to me.
Termination of Contract

The contract will be immediately terminated by me if there is any breach to the contract by you.
Governing law, jurisdiction and complaints

The Contract (including any non-contractual matters) is Governed by the law of England and Wales.

Disputes can be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, or where the Customer lives in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of respectively Scotland or Northern Ireland.

I try to avoid any dispute, so I deal with complaints as follows: if a problem occurs, customers should contact me directly. I aim to respond with an appropriate solution within 5 working days.
For 'The Quick Win':

Contract means the legally-binding agreement between you and me for the provision of the Service;

Delivery means the method of file transfer used to send the relevant documents and files (if appropriate);

Service means any Service that I offer to you, as set out in clause 6 below.
QUICK-WIN
6. The Service that I will provide under the “Quick-Win” package is as follows:
- Connecting you with a highly respected, authentic and trustworthy international development charity.
- Opportunities for you to augment your public profile by association and with immediate effect.
- Make your stand for sustainability by supporting tree planting and community development projects abroad and in the UK in partnership.
7. I will not charge you a fee for the “Quick-Win” service but by agreeing to the provision of this Service, you acknowledge that I will be paid an agreed commission by the charity.
8. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information you provide is accurate.

10. When you enquire about the Service, I will send you an email with details of what I will provide for you. In the event that I am unable to offer the Service that you require, I will try to tell you the reason without delay.
11. Once you agree to the provisions in the email, at that point a Contract for the Service will be formed.
